At Rockhampton State High School, we are proud to be a part of the School Watch Program, a community partnership between the Department of Education and the Queensland Police Service.
This initiative empowers our community to help protect our school by reporting any suspicious after-hours activity.
Schools are valuable community spaces, and when left unattended, they can become targets for vandalism, theft, trespassing, and property damage, particularly during school holidays. These incidents impact not only the school but the wider community, affecting resources, learning environments, and shared facilities.
School Watch plays a vital role in prevention. Each year, hundreds of calls from community members help safeguard schools across Queensland. Often, it is the small observations that make the buggest difference.
Look. Listen. Report.
If you notice anything unusual around our school after hours, please contact School Watch on 13 17 88.
If there is an emergency or crime in progress, always call Triple Zero (000).
Together, through vigilance and shared responsibility we can continue to kepe Rocky High safe, secure, and ready for learning.
