Parent-Teacher interviews are held periodically throughout the school year, typically alongside the release of report cards. These meetings provide a valuable opportunity for parents and teachers to connect and engage in meaningful conversations about student progress in a structured setting.
Interviews allow for focused discussion on an individual student's learning within specific subject areas. Key topics may include academic achievement, attitude to learning and peers, classroom behaviour, current coursework and upcoming assessments. All teachers are available for appointments and welcome the opportunity to discuss your child's needs.
Report cards will include on of the following comments:
Interview welcome - indicating that parents are encouraged to contact teachers to discuss their child's progress.
Interview requested - indicating that the teacher would like to meet to discuss specific aspects of your child's progress.
Parent-Teacher interviews can be booked online via Book School Interviews and are held in the school hall from 3:00pm - 6:00pm on dates scheduled in the school calendar and published in the school newsletter.
