Teachers, administrators and support staff empower students to take responsibility for their own learning and challenge them to achieve their best possible results.
At Rockhampton State High School we also have high expectations of students which are communicated through policies, procedures and routines. We work to provide students with many extra-curricular and co-curricular opportunities, and celebrate and reward success.
This is a school with a long history, and pride in its many achievements is shared with our community. As a school we enjoy strong support and a great reputation. We have a highly committed group who work on our Parents’ and Citizens’ Association who actively fundraise and contribute to the quality of our environment and resources, and who have important input into school-based decisions.
